Description
The Cryogenic LNG Storage Tank is designed with a double-walled cylindrical structure, comprising an inner cylinder and associated piping made of stainless steel S30408, while the outer shell is constructed from high-strength steel Q245R. The space between the layers is filled with expanded perlite (also known as perlite sand) and specially treated adsorbents. The tank is vacuum-insulated (0.5 to 6 Pa) and has a capacity of up to 200 m³. The operating pressure is high (the working pressure of two tanks in four workshops is 2.0 MPa), and there is an external gasifier connected to the tank, facilitating the supply of gas into the tank and allowing direct dispatch of gas under pressure. Depending on the application, tanks can be stationary or mobile. Stationary tanks are primarily used for storing cryogenic liquid, installed at production sites, usage points, or LNG supply stations. Mobile tanks are designed for transporting low-temperature liquid gas from production sites or supply stations to usage points, often in the form of road, rail, or sea transport, and are referred to as cylinders, trailers, or tankers. There are two types of installation: vertical (L) and horizontal (W).

Application
LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is a clean fuel that uses super-low temperature freezing technology to convert natural gas into a liquid state (reducing volume by approximately 600 times). These super-low temperature tanks are used to transport natural gas over long distances via vehicles, trains, ships, etc., and then store and regasify LNG. Compared to CNG, LNG has higher transportation efficiency, greater safety, and reliability, better addressing the natural gas supply problem for cities. Its versatile applications include:
Peak Source and Emergency Supply: Used as a peak source and emergency backup for city gas pipeline systems.
Primary Gas Supply: Serves as the primary gas supply for large and medium-sized cities' pipeline networks.
Regasification Source: Used as a gas source for regasification in communities.
Automotive Fuel: Used as a fuel for vehicle refueling stations.
Aviation Fuel: Used as a fuel for aircraft.
Distributed Energy Systems: Used in distributed energy systems.
