5m³ ASME Microbulk Tank: Your On-Site Cryogenic Liquid Solution
Product Overview
Introducing the 5m³ ASME Microbulk Tank, a comprehensive solution for on-site cryogenic liquid gas storage and supply. This self-contained, skid-mounted system integrates a robust cryogenic storage tank with a carefully engineered pipeline system, offering a streamlined and efficient approach to managing your LO2, LN2, or LAr needs. Designed for optimal performance and safety, this tank provides the functionality of storage, self-pressurization, and vaporization, all within a compact footprint. Optional features include remote pressure and liquid level monitoring, as well as precise metering capabilities, enabling enhanced control and data logging. The tank's double-walled construction incorporates high-performance insulation in the annular space to minimize heat transfer, ensuring exceptionally low evaporation rates and prolonged storage times. From standard configurations to fully customized designs, we cater to diverse application requirements, offering flexibility in valve selection, piping configurations, and overall system integration.
Key Advantages
Compared to traditional high-pressure gas cylinders, our microbulk tank delivers significant operational and economic benefits:
Reduced Handling & Downtime: Eliminate the frequent cylinder changeouts associated with traditional high-pressure systems. Minimize downtime and optimize workflow efficiency.
Enhanced Safety: Reduce the risks associated with moving and handling individual cylinders. The tank's robust design and integrated safety features provide a secure and reliable storage solution.
Cost Savings: Lower your overall gas costs by reducing cylinder rental fees, transportation expenses, and labor associated with cylinder management.
Simplified Logistics: The tank is easily refilled by standard cryogenic transport tankers or semi-trailers, ensuring a consistent and convenient supply.
Centralized Pipeline Gas Supply: Transition to a centralized gas distribution system with our on-site filling solution. This eliminates the need for multiple cylinder connections and provides a consistent, regulated gas supply to your point of use.

Piping System Details
The integrated piping system provides comprehensive control over liquid filling, pressurization, and dispensing:
Liquid Filling Pipeline: Consists of both a top liquid inlet line and a bottom filling line. Includes essential shut-off valves (A-1 & A-2), a purge valve (A-7) for removing contaminants, and a secure liquid filling connection point. The dual inlet design provides flexibility during the filling process and can accommodate different filling procedures.
Pressurization System: Employs a self-pressurization mechanism. Cryogenic liquid is drawn from the tank through the "Ansoda" external pipeline, passes through a supercharger input valve, a filter to remove particulates, and a pressure regulator. The pressurized gas is then returned to the "Ansoda" internal system, raising the pressure within the tank to facilitate liquid withdrawal and gas vaporization.
Liquid Level Monitoring: Equipped with a differential pressure liquid level meter and a pressure gauge, providing real-time monitoring of the liquid level and pressure inside the tank. This allows for accurate inventory management and ensures optimal operating conditions.
Gas Pipeline: Connected to the liquid outlet pipe. When gas demand is high, opening the gas valve (A-6) allows the tank's internal pressure to force liquid through a vaporizer, rapidly converting it into gas for immediate use.
Liquid Pipeline: Direct access to the cryogenic liquid is achieved by opening the liquid discharge valve (A-13). This allows for the direct use of cryogenic liquid in processes that require it.
Auxiliary Gas Pipeline: This pipeline is connected to the gas phase space within the tank. For applications with lower gas consumption, the auxiliary gas valve (A-19) provides a direct source of gas without requiring vaporization.
Gas Discharge Pipeline: This system, connected to the gas phase space at the top of the inner container, includes both a venting line and a safety discharge line.
Venting Line: Used to reduce pressure in the gas phase space and lower the gauge pressure, especially during initial filling when pressure may rise.
Safety Drain Line: Contains both a safety valve and a rupture disc, providing redundant overpressure protection for the inner container, preventing potential damage or hazardous situations.
